around. We want you to meet our Audio Guru Aaron Michael.
I was born in south Jersey, about 20 minutes away from Philadelphia. My family worked for a Christian mission organization which moved us to North Carolina when I was still a young kid. My father flew helicopters in Africa bringing medical supplies and the gospel to remote tribes across the continent. I knew radio was something I wanted to do since I was very small, and used to “play” radio in my room. I started my radio career when I was 15 with Saga Communications in Asheville, then moved to Clear Channel Asheville when I was 17. When it was time to choose a college, Western was the only one I wanted to attend. I knew that Western had everything that I wanted. In addition to my studies and other job, I am the program director at Western’s campus radio station, Power 90 dot 5, and a political enthusiast. Nothing is more invigorating then talking politics, especially behind a microphone. I am also a HUGE advocate for organ donation! If you are not an organ donor, PLEASE FILL OUT A DONOR CARD!
